The Beatles - Abbey Road Pixel Art
Special Pixel Art Tee by Penney Design.

Fictional records set in a time they shouldn’t exist, complete with scuff marks and price sticker residue.
Whether it’s poor material or the music production of the time, It’s fair to say many established artists entering the 1980s had a tough time. If Elvis hadn’t passed in 1977, would his ‘80s period have been much better? This sleeve shows the King embracing true ‘80s cheese, with a new look to keep up with the times (possibly the record company’s idea). Here’s hoping he would have had a return to form in the ‘90s.
Elvis Presley - If I’d Only Bought Her Roses (1984)
7" Single (Rare - first new material after poor health in the late ‘70s)

Spoof title cards created as a tribute to Animal Planet’s reality TV show My Cat From Hell. The episodes tend to have overly dramatic titles so I adapted them into a 1940s film noir style.

The Last Record Shop
Design feature in Detroit gallery exhibition ‘The Last Record Shop’ which attempted to recreate the experience of 'taking in art at a record store’ with fictional LP covers. The design was based on a '60s Monkees-style manufactured quartet from Michigan. The artwork was printed and presented as an actual cardboard 12" sleeve design.
